Khénifra is a city in the Moroccan Middle Atlas, the "Red City" or "Khénifra the Zaïane", with reddish colors, built on the dir between the central plateau and the Middle Atlas (former Jbel Fazzaz ) west of the Middle Atlas), the capital of Zayanes, Amazigh tribe, located in a strategic area 160 km from Fez, and 300 km from Marrakech in the province of the same name. Total area of 41.033 km2 (5.77% of the surface of Morocco).
